Md Shah Alam is the founder Chairman of Matador Group. The group has diversified under his keen leadership since 1982. Professionally he started his career as a renowned advocate of Bangladesh Supreme Court. After 25 years of legal practice, he decided to start a family company through manufacturing of plastic combs. After that, new business units were set up for producing, selling and marketing of toothbrushes, stationery, building materials, food etc.

He graduated from the Department of Law, Dhaka University and became FIRST CLASS FIRST in his L.L.B degree.

Mr Shah Alam is a highly respectable personality in the society for his business acumen as well as his activities for the social welfare.

Md. Sagirul Alam is the Managing Director of Matador Ballpen Industries Ltd. He is overseeing the company’s sales, marketing, product development and supply chain.

He has balanced knowledge in marketing, sales, finance and Human Resource management which helps him to manage a profitable and sustainable growth of the company over the years. He has graduated from BUET from the department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering. He was trained afterwards in various world class institutions in home and abroad including Harvard, University in Boston, USA.

Mr Rowshon Jamir is the Director of Matador Ballpen Industries Ltd since the company’s inception. He has vast knowledge on Production and Operations Management and HR management. Under his leadership the company can produce millions of pens and other stationery flawlessly at target costs. He has significant contribution in process automation in the factory.

He obtained B.Com (Honours) degree from Dhaka City College and attended various trainings afterwards.
